What to expect at your initial vein screening

Each patient’s condition is unique. For this reason we offer a complimentary vein screening. When you first come to visit us, we’ll review your history and perform a thorough and complete evaluation of your legs to determine the presence of vein disease. If necessary, an Ultrasound examination will be obtained, right then and there, performed by your physician, to identify the underlying cause of your problem, and help define the optimum treatment protocol customized specifically for your situation.

The following is reviewed during the initial complimentary vein screening:

  • Medical history
  • Visual examination of your legs
  • Necessity for a Comprehensive Exam including Venous Ultrasound*
  • Review of diagnosis
  • Treatment options

* The Comprehensive Venous Exam is recommended when a Venous Ultrasound is required. The Comprehensive Venous Exam... is a much more detailed medical evaluation and includes a Venous Ultrasound. This exam is covered by most insurance except HMOs without a prior physician authorization (Co-Pays and Deductibles apply).
